The new tournament of the World Club Series kicks off in Elektrostal on 19 June.
Eight teams will battle it out for the title of the best under the new, more advanced arena. The regular championship, which will last more than a month, will conclude with another Jakhn Cup.
This time, the teams will play on a 6/1 schedule with Sunday off so every short hockey fan will be able to enjoy the games of his favorite team.
An important new feature is the new rules for throw-ins – the referee now throws in only three locations: the centre circle, and in each team’s zone. No more circles!
