The morning part of the seventh game day of the ISHF LIGA PRO ELECTROSTAL OPEN 2021 brought together four teams of unequal strength. The most interesting thing was to watch the back-to-back clash between the Chetyre Ledokola and the Ledianye Voiny , because the teams were about equal in strength. No one expected much from Ferrum, and the main intrigue for Crystal is the name of the team that can defeat the colossus that sits at the top of the standings.
There was only one team from the top half of the league table – the leader of the whole championship, Crystal, who left no chance for their opponents, managing to pull off 3 wins.
The toughest match for the team from Electrostal was the encounter with Ledianye Voiny . Unexpectedly, the sixth team in the tournament was able to fight with the leader on almost equal terms, but not to win. The Ledianye Voiny again had only one win on the day, defeating Ferrum.
The Latvian team keep on handing out points to their rivals, with a difference of 41 points against the leader (let us remind you that the first week of the tournament comes to an end today). 24-6, that’s the difference in goals scored and conceded in the 3 matches. The game with the Chetyre Ledokola was the most successful for the Latvian team, as the team conceded only 4 goals.
The Chetyre Ledokola could be called the most successful team of the morning, as they managed to beat their rivals, losing only to Crystal, a defeat from which should not be given too much importance.
The results of the morning half of the seventh game day of the ISHF LIGA PRO ELECTROSTAL OPEN 2021:
Crystal v Ledianye Voiny 6-5
Ferrum v Chetyre Ledokola 1-4
Ledianye Voiny v Ferrum 11-1
Chetyre Ledokola v Crystal 8-12
Ledianye Voiny – Chetyre Ledokola 4:6
Crystal – Ferrum 9-4
Of this quartet, 2 teams will take a break after Day 7, with Crystal and Ledianye Voiny both going on break. Their place will be taken by the rested and recovered Uralets and Armeets, who will have an excellent chance to get closer to the leading Electrostal team.
